Our hisssssstory for this week
We went acrosss the Bear River this week to
get some rocks for a project we are doing.
Kevin still wearing his winter wear. :D
Alexandra is trying to attempt
to catch us some supper.
For a special treat....... this is the blow snake that greeted us.
If Kristen would of been with us, no doubt that she would of picked this snake up!!!
I don't think she would of been able to fit this one in her little green snake purse. Instead, she could of made a nice pair of boots or a purse out of a snake this size.
This just might be as close to summer as we will get!
Until next time, I hope ya'll stay warm and dry!!!!!!!!!

our amazing grandma!
I know we could all agree that Grandma Gloria is the best grandma ever! She has many amazing talents and qualities that we know about and many that we probably don't know about. Speaking of talents we (or at least I) didn't know about----
Grandma Glo has no problem jumping on a razor scooter and taking it down the driveway!
I love it!

Spring in Jackson Hole
"Reflections of Jenny Lake"
"Kodak Moment"
Pam took a little hike as we drove along the shore of the lake at about 7:00AM. The water was without a ripple and it make for a great photo-op.
Here are just a few pictures of spring from the area. It kind of makes you reflect on how small you really are in the scope of things eternal. There were literally hundreds of elk moving into the higher country from the elk reserve. The bull's are starting to grow their antlers which are covered with velvet. We saw one which already had from 18" - 24" in growth.
This is a traditional view of Jackson Hole and it captures the lure and mystery of this country. As we drive around in our modern vehicles, it makes wonder how our ancestors ever settled this land. This barn is at the end of Mormon Row and is the most famous photo of the Tetons.
Now that is a view!!

Magic Hands
Pam is into taking changes and always asks herself, "Can I make it, or will I run out of gas." Recently Pam drove up to Lewiston to pick up Olivia fulling expecting to stop and top off her tank at one of the gas stations along the way.
About 9:45 she called to say that she couldn't get the door open to the gas tank and was worried about making before she ran our of gas. She was as "frustrated as she has ever been."
So drove on to Lewiston and picked up Olivia. Despite having 6 men try and help her open the tank (which is just a touch opening), it was to no avail.
Grandma suggested to Olivia that maybe she would have the magic touch and could get it open. Well sure enough, Olivia walked around the back of the car and with her 6-year old hands gave a slight touch on the lid and it opened. Truely, Olivia did have Magic hands.
Pam and all of her male helpers couldn't get it open but Olivia came to the rescue. On the way back to Hyrum, Olivia laughed when she thought that about all of these men not being able to open it and a touch of her tiny hand - it opened.

more flowers
The best thing about daisies is that they stay alive for a few weeks in a vase. I don't even like the color purple very much, but I do like purple flowers. These little babies have been in our kitchen the last little while, I think they are beautiful.
