The Clampetts Have Arrived at the Teton Club!

Can everyone see Grandma Clampett in the rear? We have had a good laugh -----No, I am the one that has had a good laugh all day. Christene has been insulted by my joke. I thought it was "Hilarious." Love, Grandma Glo (Next time they won't bring me!)

Jackson!

Beautiful weather and having a good time, "Thanks" to Uncle Gary and Aunt Pam!------! Andrew is enjoying the rich lifestyle. ;) Christene has never had a more relaxing vacation.
We all wish we could own this place and be here together---------the whole family. Thanks again.

bunco night!

Dear Grandma-
Minus the fact that I came in 9th place out of 12, the night we played BUNCO was so much fun. I can only take comfort in knowing the fact that I am the Anderson family PHASE 10 champion, maybe Bunco just isn't my thing. Thanks again Grandma, if you do it again while I am gone, just save a place on the table for a laptop and I will play via Skype. Really Grandma, you are the best. Love you tons.
Ashley
The group shot.
Kristen and Aunt Christene during the "roll off." Let's be honest here, I didn't think Kristen had a chance, I mean look who she is playing against--- the luckiest person on the planet. Surprisingly enough, Kristen took the BUNCO champ title.

30,000 Feet Up

Coming in for a landing. Salt Lake City to Jackson Hole - 33 minutes from take off to landing.
This is Diamond Creek - our Idaho elk hunting area. If you look closely you can see my 370 bull in the quaking aspen.

Blacksmith Fork canyon looking west with the Hyrum Dam at the in the middle of the picture. It is amazing that the Wellsville mountains look like a fin on a fish from this high up.

Looking down at Avon - heading towards Jackson

This is a picture of Snowbasin. Pam shot her moose about 3/4 of a mile to the north of the area where you can see snow.

People from Idaho - What Was This Guy Thinking

Behind my truck and in front of the red Cadi is an "Idaho Car" - notice the side of the street and the direction of his car... Is this car parked in the Riverdale Ward parking lot on Sunday?

Summer So Far ~2010~

Kristen on her 22nd. BirthdayThe cute headband that Melissa made Kristen.
A fun time was had by all at our Bunco Party.
Kristen was the Bunco Queen!
Mom had such a yummy supper for us!
Yep, she is the hostess with the mostest!!!!!!! Our Bunco prizes. I love this time of the day. We see some beautiful sunsets here.
Take note of what little Casharoo has in his bottle...... Pepsi......did that ever make him HAPPY!

Tonight, Melissa decided to round up a skunk.
Landon, decided to put on the proper gear to catch this little critter. This is a younger skunk.
As you can see, this is Landon's hand and yes he did pick up this skunk!!!!
Landon said that his science teacher told him, skunks don't spray until they are 18 months old!!
Landon found out that his science teacher was wrong.
He got SPRAYED!!!!
As you can see, the smell didn't agree with Landon!!!

Our Place in Jackson Hole

Grandma Glo, Grandma Pam and I took a little side trip to Jackson Hole. Although it was the 18th of June, there was still snow just behind our place in Teton Village. This is the view from the road when you pull in to Teton Village.
Isn't this the most pretty mother any man could have? Grandma is the June Phase 10 champion for 2010. We bet dinners, treats, lunches and malt-balls on each game. A little wager always makes things more exciting. I believe there were 10 games in all.

This is looking back to the south as a wicked electrical storm approached. The thunder was loud, the lightening bright, and the rain really came down.

New sign as you enter into Teton Village.

Jackson Hole

Does his look familiar? This is the vantage point from which there are lots of pictures of the Grand Teton are taken. The trip to Jackson was rainy but beautiful. I don't think there is really a bad time to be in Teton Park.

saturday

Last Saturday a couple friends from the ward and I, did the Susan G. Komen race for the cure in Raleigh. I couldn't believe how many people did the different races (three different 5K races), there must have been 20,000 people. It was crazy. Running in North Carolina is nice because it is easy to run at sea level but I haven't found a flat running route yet, everything has a million hills.

Our hisssssstory for this week

We went acrosss the Bear River this week to
get some rocks for a project we are doing.

Kevin still wearing his winter wear. :D

Alexandra is trying to attempt
to catch us some supper.

For a special treat....... this is the blow snake that greeted us.

If Kristen would of been with us, no doubt that she would of picked this snake up!!!

I don't think she would of been able to fit this one in her little green snake purse. Instead, she could of made a nice pair of boots or a purse out of a snake this size.
This beautiful reptile even made his blowing noise at us.

This thing was HUGE!!

This just might be as close to summer as we will get!

Until next time, I hope ya'll stay warm and dry!!!!!!!!!
